Computer Tips : How to speed up a slow computer.

First off,

Take a look a the bottom right corner of your screen, here you will see bunch of icons beside the clock.

These are applications that currently running on your computer.
Some of the applications are started automatically when you log on to your computer.
So, we are going to set these application not to run when you log on to your computer.

Here is how we are going to do that :
Press windows button + R,
A small window should appear at the bottom left corner of your screen.

Now type in the Run window “msconfig” without the quotes and press OK.
A System Configuration windows should appear.

In the General tab, select “Selective Startup” and check “Load system services” and “Load startup items”
Now go to Services tab. Here you will find all services available. Uncheck unnecessary services that you don’t use anymore.

Same goes to Startup tab, here you will find all the programs that runs when you log on to your computer. Disable all programs that you don’t use or need.

Now click OK, and restart your computer and you will notice an increase speed of your computer especially when you log on to your computer.
